The data-start="3196" data-end="3224">Swasthavritta Department plays a vital role in preventive medicine and lifestyle management. It trains BAMS students in public health, environmental health, dietetics, yoga, daily routine (Dinacharya), seasonal regimen (Ritucharya), and community survey methods. A well-equipped Swasthavritta & Yoga lab creates an environment to practice assessment techniques, diet planning, yoga demonstrations, and community health activities.

Objectives

  • To promote understanding of preventive medicine in Ayurveda.

  • To teach health assessment tools used in community medicine.

  • To train students in yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation.

  • To impart knowledge of nutrition, sanitation, epidemiology, and public health measures.

1. Anthropometry & Health Assessment Zone
