Kriya Sharir Department

Physiology Laboratory for BAMS

The 00">Kriya Sharir Department deals with the functioning and physiology of the human body as per Ayurvedic and modern principles. It explains the functional roles of Dosha, Dhatu, Mala, Agni, Srotasa, Manas, and various physiological processes described by Acharyas. A well-structured Kriya Sharir lab trains students to understand the body’s functions through experiments, diagnostic tools, and physiological tests.

Objectives of the Lab

  • To teach physiological assessment techniques such as pulse, BP, reflex testing, lung capacity measurement, ECG, and hematological analysis.

  • To correlate Ayurvedic functional concepts with modern physiology.

  • To understand the impact of Dosha imbalance on bodily functions.

  • To develop diagnostic, analytical, and experimental skills.

Essential Lab Setup Components

  1. Hematology Section
