The ARTSY Stomach Wash Trainer is a realistic clinical skills simulator designed to teach gastric lavage (stomach wash) and nasogastric tube insertion procedures for emergency poisoning management and diagnostic care. Developed for the Agad Tantra and Rog Nidan & Vikriti Vigyan Departments of BAMS colleges, the trainer enables students to practice life-saving procedures in a safe, controlled, and competency-based learning environment before performing them in clinical settings.
The simulator features anatomically accurate upper airway and gastrointestinal structures, allowing students to understand the correct technique for inserting a gastric tube, confirming its placement, and performing gastric lavage. It is an ideal teaching aid for clinical demonstrations, emergency medicine training, hospital postings, skill laboratories, and OSCE/OSPE examinations.
